Yunnan Black Tea
Yunnan Black Tea is a kind of Chinese Black Tea. In China, Black tea means that kind of tea is a completely fermented tea. This kind of black tea is a very popular breakfast tea in English countries while most Chinese taste it as an after-meal tea. One thing that we need to pay extra attention is that Chinese do not call this kind of tea as ‘black tea’; we called it as ‘red tea’.
Yunnan Black Tea is the general designation for black teas from Yunnan. There are 2 types of Chinese black teas, one is called ‘congou black tea’, and another is ‘broken black tea’.
For me, I usually brew and taste Yunnan congou black tea after rich meals. It is good to have black teas twice a week as it helps our body to lower cholesterol, prevent heart diseases and it is good to oral health. People who always eat sweets and candies should try Yunnan Black Tea.

Yunnan Balck Tea taste smooth, slightly sweet and refreshing. It can energizes our bodies and mind as well. Since Yunnan Black Tea can refreshing your mind and good for health; so, you may try this tea while working instead of drinking coffees :-)

Bai Mu Dan Bai Mu Dan is a kind of Chinese white teas. The most famous Chinese white tea is Silver Needle (or called Bai Hao Yinzhen) while it is one of the 10 Most Famous Chinese Teas. Compare to Silver Needle, Bai Mu Dan is a cheaper choice for people who like white teas but cannot afford drinking Silver Needle everyday.
The tea leaf of Bai Mu Dan is long, straight and usually covered in white. When you taste it, you will feel it is smooth, delicate and highly refreshing. Most Bai Mu Dan is produced in spring in Fujian province, China. Except Bai Mu Dan, people may also call this kind of tea as ‘Pai Mu Tan’ or White Peony or ‘White Hairy Monkey Tea’.
As we mentioned before, we would like to use porcelain or glass tea set to brew green teas, white teas and flowering teas. So, I recommend using porcelain tea pot and tea cups while brewing Bai Mu Dan.
Firstly, we use hot water to rinse tea pot and tea cup temperature. After that, we pour around 150ml hot water into tea pot; then, we put 2g-3g Bai Mu Dan into the hot water and wait for 1 minute before drinking. It is good to drink white teas since it helps to kill the cancer-causing cells!

The 10 Most Famous Chinese Teas
The 10 Most famous Chinese teas or some people called it as The 10 Great Chinese Teas or China’s Famous Teas are referring to the same thing, 10 kinds of the most valuable Chinese teas.
If you have done research on internet before, you may have one question, how come different people provide different teas when they are talking the same thing? Actually, both of my foreign friends and local friends are facing same question.
Why will this happen? It is because China officials have not set the list of 10 most famous Chinese teas yet; so, people in different provinces will have different ideas and definition of 10 kinds of teas.
Here is the list of 10 most famous Chinese teas from Guang Dong Province, China.
1. LongJing or Dragon Well (from Xihu), Green tea. This is absolutely the most famous Chinese teas.
2. Bi Luo Chun or Pi Lo Chun or Spring Snail (Jiang Su), Green tea. This is the 2nd famous Chinese teas.
 3. Huang Shan Mao Feng or Fur Peak (Anhui), Green tea. This is the 3rd famous Chinese teas. It is also the designated teas for Chinese officials to give foreign countries as a gift tea. 4. Tie Guan Yin or Ti Kuan Yin or Iron Goddess (Fu Jian), Oolong tea. This kind of tea is the most popular Oolong tea in China. Drinking Oolong teas helps our digestion systems, prevent tooth decay, slow aging process and helps people who would like to have slimming body. 5. Qi Men Hung or Qi Men Red (An Hui), Black tea. This is the only black tea in the 10 most famous Chinese teas. Drinking Black teas helps us lower cholesterol and prevent us from heart disease. 6. Bai Hao Yin Jan or White Fur Silver Needle (Fu Jian), White tea. This kind of tea is good to our health as it helps killing cancer-causing cells. *For these 6 kinds of Chinese teas, everyone include them in their lists.
 7. Gua Pien or Mellon Seed or Liu An Melon Slice (Anhui), green tea. 9. Yin Jan or Silver Needle (Hu Nan), Yellow tea. 10. Da Hung Pao or Da Hong Pao or Big Red Robe (Fu Jian), Oolong tea. It is the most expensive tea in China, according to Chinese official announcement. Some one buys 20g Da Hong Pao for RMB$208,000 (that is about USD$30,150) in 2006! Fujian Maofeng

Fujian Maofeng
Fujian Maofeng (same as Fujian Maofong) is a kind of Chinese green teas; it is not as famous as Huangshan Maofeng since it is not include in The 10 Most famous Chinese teas.
However, most people who live in Fujian province, China; always brew this kind of tea as it is healthy and it is more accessible (they can make Fujian Maofeng themselves).
Fujian province is one of the famous areas to grow trees and make green teas; of course, its environment is not as excellent as Anhui province, China. It locates on the southeast coast of China (see the map).
Tea leaves of Fujian Maofeng are a little bit rolled like a string. It is thin, long and rolled.
Slightly different from general green teas, we can brew it for a few more times than general green teas.
Let say, if we can brew 3g of Liu An Melon Slice green tea, one of The 10 Most famous Chinese teas; for 5-6 times; then, we can brew 3g Fujian Maofeng for about 8 times.
Fujian Maofeng can be combined with extra elements and make it into different tastes. For example, young generations (like me :-p) like adding some Jasmine into it and it becomes Fujian Maofeng Jasmine green tea; or, some girls like adding Roses into it and it becomes Fujian Maofeng Rose green tea.
If you like to have stronger taste, you may like Fujian Maofeng Rose green tea; otherwise, you may like original Fujian Maofeng as well.
Here I show Fujian Maofeng Jasmine green tea on top and Fujian Maofeng Rose green tea below.
It is easy to recognize them from each other, right?
I like green teas rather than Oolong teas or Pu-erh tea or Flowering teas because green teas provides higher healthy elements to my body.
Like, drinking 2 cups of green teas everyday, it helps anti-cancer, slimming, prevent heart disease and stroke, and, most importantly, anti-aging :-)
